Dalip Kaur Tiwana is a novelist and short-story writer of Punjabi literature. She has won national and regional awards for her works that have been translated. She was educated at Patiala and has an MA. She was also the first woman in her region to get a PhD degree from the Panjab University, Chandigarh.
