Xcess Baggage is a novel written by the Indian author, Varsha Dixit.

Summary of the Book

This is the story of a young woman struggling for her identity, ready to sacrifice herself for a doomed love, and an immortal group of vampires looking for rest at any cost. Meghna Chandra, a twenty-two-year-old Indian girl living in the United States is desperately trying to escape her past, oblivious of the fact that every step she takes is pushing her towards vicious death. Her love for the dark and brooding Byron, cursed to live till the end of time, pushes her into an obscure and unsafe world from which there may not be any escape at all.

About Varsha Dixit

Varsha Dixit is an Indian writer and the author of this book. She finished her schooling at St. Mary’s Convent in Kanpur, and completed her B.A. (Honours) degree in Political Science at the Indraprastha College, New Delhi. She previously worked in the TV industry in Mumbai, before moving to the United States with her family. Being an ardent fan of murder mysteries, Varsha initially intended on writing books on serial killers, but decided against it as she finds it difficult to hurt or kill anyone, even on paper. She has also authored Right Fit Wrong Shoe and Wrong Means Right End.
