About the Authors
Louis W. Stern holds the John D. Gray Distinguished Chair of Professor Emeritus of Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He has served the Ohio State University as Professor of Marketing and has worked at the industrial research firm Arthur D. Little, Inc., as a researcher and prior to that, he served the National Commission on Food Marketing in Washington as a principal economist. He has also written: Management in Marketing Channels, and Legal Aspects of Marketing Strategy: Antitrust and Consumer Protection Issues.
Erin Anderson was a Professor of Marketing at the INSEAD Business School and chaired seven dissertation committees. She also won the 2008 IOSIG Lifetime Achievement Award, a prestigious award of the American Marketing Association.
Adel I El-Ansary holds the Donna L. Harper Chair of Marketing at the University of North Florida. He has previously worked at the University of North Florida as the First Holder of the Paper and Plastics Educational Research Foundation Eminent Scholar Chair in Wholesaling and Professor and Chairman of Business Administration at the George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
Anne Coughlan is currently the John L. & Helen Kellogg Professor at the Kellogg School of Management, studying the areas of distribution channels, sales force management and compensation, and pricing. She also serves as Area Editor and member of the editorial board of Marketing Science and received the school’s Executive Master’s Program Teacher of the Year Award for the best elective course in 1996 and 2003, as well as the Sidney J. Levy Teaching Award.
