Summary of the Book
When they are not butting into each other, two heads are always better than just one. Nate and his pals are back to huddle up and discuss new ideas for fun. After all, it isn’t fun to brainstorm all alone. Nate Wright is an eleven-year-old who knows that he is destined for great success, and this keeps him going. He is a chess prodigy, and self-proclaimed genius, who is only in the sixth grade. He is also a record holder for detentions in school history. He is always getting into trouble with his teachers and his classmates. However, his confidence, attitude and personality have always made him a big hit among his fans.
About Lincoln Peirce
Lincoln Peirce is an American cartoonist and is best known as the creator of the Big Nate comic strip. He attended Colby College in Maine, where he created a weekly comic strip called ‘Third Floor’ for the school newspaper. He later earned a college degree from Brooklyn College. He also studied in The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He has written several animated shorts for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.
