Branson begins the book with a self-evaluation. He describes himself as someone who does not say no to any opportunities in life. Instead, he takes them up and strives to succeed.

Branson’s golden guidelines start with valuing the money. Money, as Branson puts it, is an enabler. He also advises people to have fun. It is important that one loves what they do. If you don’t enjoy what you are doing then you might not encounter success in your mission. Once you begin to enjoy what you are doing, then money and all other attributes will follow.

Branson comes across as a bold person with a positive attitude, and he always weighs the opportunity and looks at the chances of success. In the book, he tells the readers to not engage in activities which are not challenging. If you go easy, then chances are that you are not close to your aim. Setting the bar a little high up will always work wonders. He urges the readers to always try and go for better things in life and do things in a different manner. Branson claims that the two things he likes the most are doing the best and seeking adventure.
