About Jaishree Misra
Jaishree Misra is a British author of Indian origin. Her third book, Rani, a historical novel based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai, was banned by the Uttar Pradesh government. Until recently, Jaishree lived in the United Kingdom and worked at the British Board of Film Classification in London, but she recently returned to India to help set up a residential home for people with learning disabilities. Some of her other works include: A Scandalous Secret, Secrets and Sins, Secrets and Lies, The Little Book of Romance, and Accidents like Love and Marriage.
