Five Go Down to the Sea, by Enid Blyton, is the twelfth title in The Famous Five series written for children.
Summary of the Book
Julian, Dick, Anne and Georgina (George), and their dog Timmy, are The Famous Five. All titles in the series are those stories that happen during school holidays, after the children return from their boarding schools. In the current title, the little adventurers agree to spend some time at a secluded and peaceful farm in Cornwall, recommended by Uncle Quentin and meet Mr. Penruthlan. They hear bizarre tales of the long ago wrecking trade. But lights are still shone at night to direct ships to the rocks. Is there a secret on the way? Will the famous five discover what it is?
