Summary of the Book

The Famous Five – Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy the dog, are off to stay at Kirrin Cottage with George’s parents. Berta is the daughter of one of the American scientists working on a secret project with Uncle Quentin. She turns up at the cottage in the middle of the night dressed up like a boy.
