Summary of the Book
Julian, Dick and Anne set out for Kirrin cottage to stay for a couple of weeks. But this time, the kids were beaten by Professor Hayling who is a colleague of their Uncle Quentin. There is not enough room in the cottage for everyone to stay, so the Five along with Tinker go to his lighthouse at the Demon’s rock up the coast. The Famous Five have heard all the stories about treasure on Demon's Rocks, but they did not believed any one of them until they came here themselves. They discover a very old and valuable gold coin and what was all a myth becomes real. Who does this treasure belong to? The famous five are determined to find out, but they are also unaware of the danger lurking in the background. There are other sinister people looking for the treasure too. Will the Famous Five be able to track down the treasure and escape from the bad guys?
