About The Authors

Ze-Nian Li is an author and professor of computing science.

Li completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in China in 1970. He pursued and completed his Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1981 and also obtained his Ph.D in Computer Sciences from the same university in 1986. He is currently a professor at Simon Fraser University.

Mark S. Drew is an author and a professor of computing science.

Drew completed his B.A.Sc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto in 1970 and also did his Master’s in Physics at the same university in 1971. Drew obtained his Ph.D in Physics from the University of British Columbia in 1976.
